Programs
Doga at pup plaza
Participants will learn about bonding with their dogs through Doga. While guiding the yoga practice, the Doga instructor will provide moments throughout the class for participants to bond, reward, and breathe with their dogs. The instructor will provide suggested cues for the leash and various opportunities during class to check-in and reconnect with their dogs.
Canine Celebrations
Book your dog birthday/adoption celebrations, corporate team-building events, book clubs, baby showers, art classes, and other events at Pup Plaza.
Please Note: Pup Plaza and Silicon Valley Pet Project do not provide pets for any private rental.
Adoptable dogs
Come meet dogs available for adoption thru Silicon Valley Pet Project in a relaxed fun environment at Pup Plaza! We also welcome meet & greets by appointment! Click here for adoptable dogs. Note not all adoptable dogs attend each adoption event.
Reading with Dogs
Children (6+ years old and up) are invited to practice their reading skills at Pup Plaza through a partnership with Furry Friends Assisted Therapy Services. Books will be provided, but children can bring their own book if they choose. Pup Plaza provides a casual, fun environment to read in the company of gentle and loving dogs.
This is a free community program which is offered on a monthly basis, and preregistration is NOT required.
SHELTER Dog Day Out Program
As a rescue partner of the San Jose Animal Care Center, Silicon Valley Pet Project strives to support the shelter in new ways to promote adoption. Starting in late 2018 thru 2019, over 200 shelter dogs visited Pup Plaza for a break in shelter life and were treated to a day at Pup Plaza with loving volunteers. In 2022, due to the ongoing pandemic restrictions, SVPP modified this program to include Field Trips for large dogs from the San Jose shelter. Read more about this current program here. In order to participate in this program, a completed volunteer application and orientation is required. Watch our video here to learn more.
