Tuttle became an SVPP foster dog in July after having been in the San Jose shelter for more than nine months. He is available for adoption and looking for his forever family – a family to whom he can provide great joy and love. We interviewed Tuttle this month so that you can get to know him better!
Tuttle, how did you end up with SVPP?
Because I am the luckiest dog in the world! I have two heroes to thank: SVPP volunteer Kevin, who worked with me during SVPP Dog Day Out, and Dave, who made room in his heart and home for me! I even get to live with Golly, my blind dog sister who Dave adopted from SVPP almost 4 years ago. Just thinking about all of this makes me want to wag!!!
How would you describe yourself for our readers?
I am a happy and friendly boy! I’m about 2 years old – in people years! – and a Cattle Dog/Staffordshire Terrier mix. I love to be with people (I’m great with adults and kids) and adore other dogs! I’m not crazy about squirrels but they’re nuts anyways!
What do you like to do?
Everything! I’m always up for a hike, beach trip, restaurant outing or shopping trip. Take me on a new trail any day or watch me play with my favorite toys! Did I forget to mention car rides? Yes! Yes! Yes! One of my favorite activities is snuggling on the couch! Is that really an activity? I think so!
What’s your favorite toy?
Well, really toys and games and chewy things! I love my rope and tug toys! My foster sister, Golly, and I play games where we shake the toys at each other, and a chase always ensues!
What’s your dream forever family?
People who love me and will let me love them! If I can be part of a family, really, that’s all I need.
